Nutella Swirl Cupcakes

Hey y’all!

Today we made some cupcakes that we had been admiring for quite a while. We got the idea from this wonderful blog, Casa Veneracion.

We decided to use this recipe because we knew how popular the Nutella spread was and we knew how popular cupcakes are so we figured putting them together would be, well…amazing.

And we have to admit that we were right; it’s definitely something we will make again!

So while making our batter, we realized that it was SUPER thick, but don’t worry if you have this problem as well, cause it will end up thinning out.

But don’t worry! It ended up thinning out and was super easy to scoop into the cupcake liners. Our batter made about 12 cupcakes.

We then added a teaspoon of Nutella to the top of each cupcake and swirled it into the cupcake. This was a bit difficult, so we ended up swirling the nutella through the top of the cupcake, but they still turned out awesome.

After baking…

The thing we loved about this is that these cupcakes are so simple yet so delicious! They don’t need to be iced, because the nutella basically acts as it’s own icing. They can be eaten right when they get out of the oven, and taste amazing. Of course, we would recommend letting them cool first!
